In the last several days I have had a few scary near misses on the road and not by my fault. Why can't folks stay in their own lane and use a blinker when they change lanes, oh and just pay attention? Some of the worst drivers seem to be in the biggest vehicles too. I just want to stay safe out there.
I am a bit late in updating but noone will notice since I am brand new! I got my fabulous Studio Calico and awesome Scarlet Lime kits. These companies make me so much more creative and have helped me develop a style. I am brand new to Studio Calico and I promised to tell you how impressed with their customer service I am & why. I stayed up to Midnight on reveal night last month to get a sub and some addons. They had a coupon special(LOVE THAT!) and the community is a blast on the message boards. I got my sub and several add ons as well. I was so happy and also so tired throwing my body off schedule by staying up so late:o) I noticed everyone on the message board started getting their kits and/or notification of shipping. I posted a few times worried and found out that they ship at different times so I relaxed. I was anxious and excited to play with my new kits! I finally shot out an email to ask about the different shipping times and when the latest ship dates are since I was driving myself crazy. That is when they realized that their computer canceled my order when one of the kits I got sold out. Of course, the other kit had sold out shortly afterword and since my order was canceled without anyones knowledge(paypal confirmed) they were both gone:o( I had even shopped for extra goodies to complement these kits. I was beyond bummed. They fixed the system so that it won't happen again and more then made up for the mix up. I feel great about the whole thing because of the way they handled it. I also made out in the end with extra goodies and another add on that I LOVE more then I had imagined and could not be happier with the outcome. I wish all companies understood just how important customer service is.
I have already been playing with my kits. It is like xmas here! I will post pictures as soon as the computer allows. We still have to clean out the harddrive so I can put the 400+ pictures that are currently on the new camera on here. I give up on promises, but this will be the first place that I share! I may be back later to figure out how to post pictures anyhow. I'll post some of the horses when I see you next.

Day 2 down!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I don't like football at all except to go to live games every now and then. I was on a fantasy team and dropped out the following year since I truly have no clue and honestly don't like it. I leave football to the rest of my family; my husband has the whole sports pack to not miss any game and my 5 year old Son already watches it. My Mom even likes it. Now I could sit and watch dressage all day where as most people would be bored to tears. I love the differences we all have. Life itself would be boring if we were all very similar.
It is going to be atleast a week beforeI can share any of my layouts. We, I mean my husband is cleaning out the hard drive so that I can put the pictures from the new camera on the computer. I know it will be awhile because:
1. It is a royal pain and something about dvd rams and our burner not working.
2. I am of no help at all
3. The new wii games we picked up have got Scott and Jacob very busy!
4. After Scotts crazy busy days at work, the last thing he wants to do is tackle a fussy computer and I don't blame him!
So, in the meantime I will share some plain old pictures this week. It is a good way to get to know my blog anyway!
I'm off to enjoy this gorgeous warm day...

Work hard to stop the judging.
I struggle and continue to work on not being judgemental of others. Am I the only one with that little critical voice in my head? Not only will in criticize strangers, but mostly myself. I wish it was gone completly but I struggle with it sometimes. It is something that I don't like about myself and that I have vowed to stop. I firmly believe that you do not fully understand anyone else without walking a mile in their shoes(which is impossible). I believe that we all do the best we can with who we are and what we know. In that same vein, I am learning to not care what others think about me and what or how I do things. This may be easy or natural for some, but I find it hard.
I know that I am a good, kind, compassionate person. I have a wonderful side of me (a much bigger one then Ms. Judgemntal) that wants to reach out and genuinally cares about others. I want to make sure the world and most importantly that my Son sees and learns that from me.
I finally decided to be brave and start a blog to share my thoughts and creations. I hope people like my things and me but not everyone will. I know that is just fine so I have officially taken the plunge. This will be a fun place. I'm glad anyone who comes is along for the ride!
